In October, the annual “SYMULACJA 2024” conference took place in Łódź – the largest event in Poland bringing together people involved in simulation from various, often seemingly unrelated fields, such as automotive or energetics. Additionally, the “Forum Managerów Symulacji” (Simulation Managers Forum) conference was organized concurrently with this event.

The conference, organized by MESco, consisted of workshops a full-day session featuring user presentations, and lectures from individuals associated with ANSYS. This year, there were three parallel sessions divided by fields in which simulation is applied: mechanics, fluid dynamics & electromagnetism, and optics.

Although the representation of BURY company regularly participates in SYMULACJA conference, without a doubt, this year’s participation can be considered one of the most successful, thanks to:

• Adam Knara’s victory, winning the first place in the mechanical session with his lecture “Haptics – Unconventionally”;
• Bartosz Wyzga delivering two presentations: one at the optical session of SYMULACJA 2024, titled “Challenges in Illumination Design in Automotive,” and another at the main session of the “Forum Managerów Symulacji” (Simulation Managers Forum) titled “Competence Development in Simulation Teams”;
• BURY company displaying for the first time its booth which received a lot of interest, our litghtguides were a hit;
• Damian Łabusiewicz winning the first place in the bowling tournament organized as an informal gathering after the conference
