Opening of BURY SOFT ACADEMY

Data: 11 October 2021

BBURY sp. z o.o. in Mielec has offered its employees the opportunity to train electronics programmers capable of joining its dynamic Development Department.

The software development industry is becoming the most crucial direction for workforce development in the most prominent, large market companies. The academic training of staff in this direction, despite the visible progression over the past few years, still needs to be improved in relation to the needs of employers. At the same time, as emphasized by specialists, this training primarily requires a high specialization of programming skills to the specifics and requirements of a given company. It is no different in our case, where the company’s rapid growth requires hiring a staff of embedded programmers – engineers who develop programming skills for embedded systems dedicated to the automotive industry.

The activity of large enterprises, concerns and corporations in the field of searching for and designing multi-semester learning studies aimed at their own company’s employees is a method to solve this problem. A great example of this in the European forum is the project for training programmers based on their staff offered by the Volkswagen and Bosch corporations.

Following in the footsteps of the activities of these companies, BURY sp. z o.o. in Mielec also offered its employees the opportunity to train electronics programmers capable of joining a dynamic Development Department. As a result of actions by the company’s owner, Henryk Bury, and the company’s Board of Directors in Mielec, cooperation with the local Center for Practical Education and Teacher Training on the BURY SOFT ACADEMY project was undertaken. During the recruitment process, 40 participants were selected for the project, which has a chance to become one of the most innovative projects in the country. Depending on the interest and results of the project, BURY Company wants to continue the study in annual cycles in the future, hoping that the acquired skills will be confirmed by a certificate that will be respected among entrepreneurs and that the new staff will successfully strengthen the potential of BURY Development.
