It allows to permanently connect the CL 1020 Time device to the car’s electrical system.
It is designed for connection in cars equipped with a 12 V power supply (passenger cars) and 24 V (trucks).

Electronic driver‘s logbook
- Stored data: date and time, vehicle position, speed and tour type
- Driver’s log data storage capacity for 10,000 kilometres or 3 months. When the available memory on the device is full, the oldest data is overwritten.
- Changeover route options between Private, Commute to work and Business Trip modes
- Status display of whether GPS-reception is available and of mode of operation using two different diodes (green and red)
- UBS-C connection for comfortable read-out of data
Administrative programme:
- Automatic allocation of address details for the highlighted GPS coordinates
- Input of missing address data and purpose of journey, with additional information such as business partners
- Updating of data possible for danger zone warning system1 (SCDB data)
- Geo-fencing — the automatic assigning of pre-defined address data to a geographically bigger starting or destination area

The CL 1020 Time system records every vehicle journey and compiles a log of all trips, routes, and visited locations. The route information is made available in the BURY Time Suite program, which includes many additional features such as: calculating expenses related to the use of a private car for business purposes, setting a time frame for which trips should be displayed, and printing a preview
of the traveled routes.
The driver‘s logbook contains essential data — detailed route descriptions, purpose of the trip, driver information, mileage — that also ensures compliance with tax regulations.

If you use a fleet vehicle such as a company car privately, or if you use a vehicle for work purposes as an independent professional, keeping a driver‘s logbook is a good idea.
